This is a treasure ship of good fortune. It is large and has a notable presence, with a weighty feel. It serves as a protective charm for those who work at sea or board ships, wishing for their safety at sea. The frog is considered an auspicious creature, as it is believed to be a messenger of gods for bountiful harvests and rain. Additionally, "kaeru" in Japanese means "to return safely," "luck returning," or "money returning." Furthermore, since frogs only jump forward, they are also regarded as symbols of career luck and success. It is loved as an auspicious creature, often given to travelers or those going far for work with the wish for their "safe return," or presented to those in the hospital during visits, wishing for the improvement of their health. The "Scrolls of Frolicking Animals and Humans" (Chōjū-jinbutsu-giga) are ink-painted scrolls passed down at Kōzan-ji Temple in Ukyo Ward, Kyoto. Particularly famous is the first scroll, which features anthropomorphized rabbits and frogs. A frog from the scene where a frog and rabbit wrestle has been recreated in K18 gold. The octagonal shape is considered a "symbol of Feng Shui" and is regarded as a well-balanced and highly favorable form. Furthermore, the Yatagarasu, a legendary three-legged crow associated with the number eight, is said to have guided Emperor Jinmu from Kumano Province to Yamato Province and is regarded as a divine messenger. It is believed that if something is governed by the number eight, the Yatagarasu will guide you without losing your way. **Paulownia Wood Ship** Paulownia wood is closely associated with the sea as it is used to make diving boards (floats) for tuna fishing. Paulownia is also said to be a sacred tree where the phoenix rests, and there is a legend that if there is a paulownia tree, the phoenix will descend. The phoenix is considered a symbol of happiness. **Handling Precautions:** - Acrylic is a material prone to scratches.
