Ordi is a pewter sake set crafted using casting techniques from Takaoka City in Toyama Prefecture, a city with over 400 years of history in metal crafts. Tin is said to improve the taste of water and mellow the flavor of drinks, and it has been used for tableware since ancient times. It can be used not only for sake, but also for other beverages.
Ordi is made using casting techniques with high-purity tin (99.99%: four nines). (*Casting is a manufacturing method in which molten metal is poured into a mold and solidified.)
