The "KOROMO" series of sake cups (guinomi/sake vessels/sake cups) allows you to simultaneously experience the unique texture of wood, the beautiful hues of lacquer, and the elegance of maki-e.
The upper part of the cup is coated with red or black lacquer, the lower part is finished with a clear coating to showcase the natural wood grain, and a gold or silver maki-e line accents the middle, creating a simple yet stylish design.
Wooden sake cups are rare, but they offer a soft and exquisite mouthfeel.
The lacquered sections use a technique called "mehajiki," which reveals the wood grain, making them easy to use casually.
