Care Guide

〇 Before Use ・For optimal comfort, we recommend rinsing new towels with water before use. Fine lint may appear initially but will diminish after a few washes. *Excludes towels made with untwisted yarn. ・Storing towels in their new condition for years may cause color fading. 〇 Washing Instructions ・We recommend using a washing cycle with a high water level. ・Drum-type washing machines use less water and clean by agitating the laundry, which may cause towel piles to stiffen. For drum-type machines, using the drying function will result in a fluffier finish. ・Avoid washing with items that have zippers or Velcro, as they may snag the towel piles. 〇 Choosing Detergents ・Avoid using detergents with fluorescent agents or chlorine-based bleach, as they may cause discoloration. ・Refrain from using fabric softeners, as they may reduce the towel's absorbency. Fabric softeners are only recommended for towels that have become stiff over time. 〇 Spin-Drying and Hanging ・Extended spin-drying can cause the piles to flatten and harden. ・Do not leave towels unattended after spin-drying, as the piles may set in a flattened state. Hang them promptly. ・Avoid direct sunlight, as it may cause fading and hardening. Dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area. ・Do not leave towels damp, as this could lead to odors, mold, or bacteria growth. 〇 Maintaining Volume ・To keep towels soft and fluffy, hold both ends of the towel after washing and shake it lightly to restore its shape before hanging to dry. Shaking in the air helps the fibers stand up, creating a fluffy finish. 〇 Storage Instructions ・Store towels in a fluffy state without compressing them. ・As towels absorb moisture, store them in a well-ventilated area. 〇 If a Pile Gets Snagged ・Towels are delicate woven fabrics and may snag on nails or other objects. ・If a pile is pulled out, trim it at the base with scissors, taking care not to damage the fabric. ・If hems or edges fray, sewing over them will prevent further fraying.
