"efu black" is made of brass with a black coating. The contrast between the incense burner's weighty, matte texture and the organic smoke is striking. The smoke rising from the straight slit flickers, lingers, and creates an organic, spontaneous display that contrasts with the burner's form.
The name "efu" incorporates the "f" from "1/f fluctuation," which is said to evoke a sense of comfort: Frequency, Fluctuation, and Flow (of the incense smoke).
