Care Guide
〇 When You Start Using - For optimal comfort, wash new towels once before use. While fine lint may appear initially, it will decrease after several washes. *Excludes towels made with untwisted yarn. - Prolonged storage of new towels may cause discoloration. 〇 Washing Instructions - We recommend washing on a cycle with a large water volume. - Drum-type washing machines may cause the pile to harden as they clean by pounding laundry with minimal water. For drum-type machines, using the drying function can help achieve a fluffy finish. - Avoid washing towels with items that have zippers or hook-and-loop fasteners, as they may snag the pile. 〇 Choosing Detergent - Avoid using detergents with fluorescent agents or chlorine-based bleach, as they may cause discoloration. - Fabric softeners can reduce towel absorbency, so refrain from using them. However, you may use them for towels that have hardened over time. 〇 Spin Drying and Hanging - Prolonged spin drying can crush the pile and make it stiff. - Do not leave towels unattended after spin drying, as the pile may harden in a flattened state. Hang them promptly. - Strong sunlight can cause fading and stiffening; dry towels in a well-ventilated shaded area. - Avoid leaving towels damp, as this can lead to odors, mold, and bacterial growth. 〇 Maintaining Volume - To keep your towels soft and fluffy, hold both ends of the towel and snap it a few times in the air to reshape it before hanging to dry. This allows the fibers to stand up and results in a fluffy finish. 〇 Storage - Store towels without compressing them to maintain their fluffiness. - Since towels absorb moisture, store them in a well-ventilated area. 〇 If the Pile Gets Snagged - Towels are delicate fabrics, and the pile may get snagged by nails or other objects. - Trim any pulled pile at the base with scissors, being careful not to damage the weave. - If the hem or edges unravel, sewing over the area can prevent further fraying.
