Care Guide

〇 When You Start Using the Towel: - Washing a new towel once with water before use will make it more comfortable to use. - Initially, fine lint may appear, but this will decrease after a few washes. *Excludes towels made with untwisted yarn. - Long-term storage without use may cause discoloration. 〇 Washing Instructions: - We recommend washing on a cycle with a high water level. - Drum-type washing machines may cause the pile to become stiff due to their method of pounding laundry with minimal water. For drum washing machines, using the drying function will result in a fluffier finish. - Be cautious when washing with items that have zippers or Velcro, as these may snag the towel’s pile. 〇 Choosing Detergent: - Avoid using detergents with fluorescent agents or chlorine-based bleach, as they may cause discoloration. - Refrain from using fabric softener, as it can reduce the towel’s absorbency. Fabric softener is only recommended for older towels that have become stiff over time. 〇 Drying and Dehydration: - Prolonged dehydration can crush the pile, leading to stiffness. - After dehydration, hang the towel promptly to prevent the pile from becoming flattened and fixed in that state. - Strong sunlight can cause color fading and stiffness; dry in a well-ventilated shaded area. - Avoid leaving the towel wet, as it may lead to odor, mold, or bacterial growth. 〇 To Maintain Volume: - To keep your towel soft and fluffy for a long time, lightly shake it by holding both ends after washing to adjust its shape before hanging it to dry. Shaking it in the air helps the fibers stand and results in a fluffier finish. 〇 Storage Method: - Store towels in a fluffed-up condition without pressing them down as much as possible. - As towels absorb moisture, store them in a well-ventilated area. 〇 If a Pile Gets Snagged: - Towels are delicate woven products and may get snagged by nails or other objects. - If the pile stretches, cut it from the base with scissors, being careful not to damage the towel’s base fabric. - If the hem or edge frays, sewing over it with a machine will prevent further fraying.
