〇 Before First Use - Washing a new towel once improves comfort during use. Fine lint may initially appear, but it will become less noticeable after a few washes. *Excludes towels made with untwisted yarn. - Storing towels for years in their unused state may cause discoloration. 〇 Washing Instructions - It is recommended to use a washing course with a high water level. - Drum-type washing machines clean by agitating laundry with minimal water, which may cause the pile to become stiff. For drum-type machines, using the drying function will result in a fluffier finish. - Be cautious when washing with items that have zippers or Velcro, as they can snag the towel pile. 〇 Choosing Detergents - Avoid using detergents with fluorescent agents or chlorine-based bleach, as they may cause discoloration. - Fabric softeners can reduce the towel's absorbency and should generally be avoided. They are recommended only for towels that have become stiff due to aging. 〇 Spin-Drying and Air-Drying - Prolonged spin-drying can flatten the pile and cause stiffness. - Leaving towels unattended after spin-drying will cause the flattened pile to set, so dry them promptly. - Strong sunlight can cause fading and stiffness; dry towels in a well-ventilated, shaded area. - Do not leave wet towels unattended, as this may lead to odors, mold, or bacterial growth. 〇 To Maintain Volume - To keep towels soft and fluffy, hold both ends of the towel and shake it lightly after washing to reshape before drying. The fibers will stand up when shaken in the air, resulting in a fluffier finish. 〇 Storage Instructions - Store towels without compressing them to maintain their fluffiness. - As towels absorb moisture, store them in a well-ventilated location. 〇 If the Pile Gets Snagged - Towels are delicate woven fabrics and may snag on nails or other items. - If the pile stretches out, trim it at the base using scissors, taking care not to damage the fabric. - If the hem or edges become frayed, sewing over the area with a machine can prevent further unraveling.
