This is an original tea canister by Fujiki Denshiro Shoten, featuring cherry bark that peeks out like a belt. By shortening the outer cylinder of a standard tea canister, the cherry bark of the inner cylinder is exposed, accentuating the color of the wooden outer cylinder. While innovative in design for kabazaiku, it fully utilizes the unique characteristics of the materials and techniques, making it a distinctive piece of kabazaiku. The inner cylinder is entirely covered with cherry bark, allowing you to enjoy the contrast when the outer lid is removed. Additionally, the inner lid is deeper than usual and lacks a knob, enabling it to be used as a scoop when transferring tea leaves to a teapot. Care Guide

・Please use the product correctly according to its original purpose and intended use. ・Avoid using it in the refrigerator, as excessive dryness may cause the surface bark to peel or distort the entire product. ・Do not soak it in water or hot water for cleaning, and do not use it in a dishwasher. ・Do not use it in a microwave or oven. ・To prevent the peeling of cherry bark, avoid getting it wet. Additionally, do not leave it in highly humid places for extended periods. ・Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight to prevent warping, cracking, or discoloration. ・Avoid sudden temperature changes caused by contact with heated or cooled items, as this may lead to discoloration, warping, or cracking. ・Be careful to avoid strong impacts, such as dropping the product, as this may cause damage. For polished products among kabazaiku (cherry bark crafts), no coating is applied to allow customers to enjoy the natural texture of the material. Therefore, please avoid moisture as much as possible. If it does get wet by any chance, wipe it off immediately with a soft, dry cloth. Please align the seams of the body and lid when closing the lid. Both the body and lid are made using the same wooden mold, so aligning the seams allows for smooth closure. Since each product is handcrafted, there may be slight differences in how the outer and inner lids fit. Thank you for your understanding. Tea caddies maintain an appropriate level of humidity, keeping tea leaves in good condition.
