This is an original tea caddy from Fujiki Denshiro Store, featuring a design where cherry bark peeks out like a belt. By shortening the outer cylinder of a typical tea caddy, the cherry bark of the inner cylinder is exposed, serving to accentuate the color of the outer wooden cylinder. While showcasing an innovative design for kabazaiku, it highlights the characteristics of the material and technique, making it a unique kabazaiku piece. The inner cylinder is entirely covered with cherry bark, allowing you to enjoy the contrast with the outer cylinder when the outer lid is opened. Additionally, the inner lid is deeper than usual and lacks a knob, enabling it to be used as a scoop for tea leaves when transferring them to a teapot. Care Guide

・Please use the product correctly in accordance with its intended purpose and use. ・Avoid using it in the refrigerator, as excessive dryness may cause the surface bark to peel or the entire product to deform. ・Do not soak in water or hot water, and do not use in a dishwasher. ・Do not use in a microwave or oven. ・To prevent the peeling of cherry bark, avoid getting the product wet. Additionally, do not leave it in highly humid places for extended periods. ・To prevent warping, cracking, and discoloration, do not expose the product to direct sunlight. ・Avoid sudden temperature changes caused by contact with heated or cooled objects, as this may lead to discoloration, warping, or cracking. ・Please handle with care to avoid strong impacts, such as dropping the product, as this may cause damage. For polished Kaba-zaiku (cherry bark craft) products, no coating has been applied to allow customers to enjoy the natural texture of the material. Therefore, please avoid moisture as much as possible. If the product does come into contact with moisture, wipe it off immediately with a soft, dry cloth. When closing the lid, align the joints of the body and the lid. Both the body and the lid are made using the same wooden mold, so aligning the joints will allow smooth closure. Please note that as each item is handcrafted, there may be slight individual differences in the fit of the outer and inner lids. The tea caddy maintains an appropriate level of humidity, allowing tea leaves to be stored in good condition.
