This is an original tea canister by Fujiki Denshiro Shoten, utilizing a new manufacturing method while taking advantage of the characteristics of the "kata-mono" technique, created with an outer cylinder and an inner cylinder. The outer cylinders made of cherry bark, cherry wood, and maple are sliced into three rings and rearranged to fit over the inner cylinder. The materials used are, from the top, plain cherry bark, maple, and cherry wood, with the "plain cherry bark" used on the top outer lid serving as the product name. *Since natural materials are used, each piece will have different knot patterns and shades. While we strive to represent the actual product as closely as possible, the color and texture may appear different from the actual item depending on photography conditions and the display settings of your computer or smartphone.
