This is an original tea caddy by Fujiki Denshiro Shoten, made from a simple cylindrical mold. The outer cylinder uses "Shimofuri-kawa," which retains the natural texture of wild cherry tree bark, allowing you to feel the raw charm, including the uneven knots of the bark. Additionally, its color will deepen and mature with daily use. By omitting the knob on the inner lid, which was the only part not made with a mold, the design not only became simpler but also allows the inner lid to be used as a tea scoop when transferring tea leaves into a teapot. Care Guide

Extreme dryness may cause peeling of the surface or deformation of the entire product. ・Do not soak in water or hot water, and do not use in a dishwasher. ・Do not use it in a microwave or oven. ・To prevent the peeling of cherry bark, avoid getting it wet. Additionally, do not leave it in highly humid places for long periods. ・To prevent warping, cracking, or discoloration, avoid direct exposure to sunlight. ・Avoid sudden temperature changes caused by contact with heated or cooled items, as this may cause discoloration, warping, or cracking. ・Be careful not to drop the product or subject it to strong external impacts, as this may cause damage. Among the Kaba-zaiku (cherry bark crafts), polished finish products are left uncoated to allow customers to enjoy the natural texture of the material. Therefore, please avoid exposure to moisture as much as possible. If the product comes into contact with moisture, immediately wipe it off with a soft, dry cloth. When closing the lid, align the seams of the body and lid. Both the body and lid are crafted using a single wooden mold, so aligning the seams allows for smooth closure. Please note that as each piece is handcrafted, there may be slight individual differences in how the outer and inner lids fit.
