This is an original tea canister by Fujiki Denshiro Shoten, made using a plain cylindrical form. The outer cylinder is crafted from plain bark of wild cherry trees, polished to reveal the unique texture of the cherry bark knots. Over time, the surface gains a beautiful patina through daily handling, and the color matures to a subdued tone with use. By omitting the knob on the inner lid, which was the only part not made with the "molded" method in tea canisters, the design has been made simpler. Additionally, the inner lid can now be used as a scoop when transferring tea leaves into a teapot. Design: Yamada Kaichiro. *As natural materials are used, each product will have unique knot patterns and color tones. Care Guide

・Please use the product correctly, adhering to its intended purpose and usage. ・Avoid using it in the refrigerator. Extreme dryness may cause the surface bark to peel or the product to warp. ・Do not soak in water or hot water, and do not use in a dishwasher. ・Do not use in a microwave or oven. ・To prevent the peeling of the cherry bark, avoid getting it wet. Also, do not leave it in a highly humid place for a long time. ・To prevent warping, cracking, or discoloration, avoid direct sunlight. ・Avoid sudden temperature changes caused by contact with heated or cooled items, as it may lead to discoloration, warping, or cracking. ・Be cautious of strong external impacts, such as dropping, as they may cause damage. Among kabazaiku products, those with a polished finish are not coated to allow customers to enjoy the natural texture of the material. Therefore, avoid exposure to moisture as much as possible. If it does get wet, immediately wipe it off with a soft, dry cloth. Align the seams of the body and the lid when closing. Both the body and lid are crafted using a single wooden mold, so aligning the seams will allow smooth closure. As each piece is handmade, there may be slight individual differences in the fit of the outer and inner lids. Thank you for your understanding.
