This is an original tea caddy by Fujiki Denshiro Shoten, utilizing a new manufacturing method while taking advantage of the characteristics of the "katamono" technique, which is crafted with an outer and inner cylinder. The outer cylinders made of cherry bark, walnut, cherry, and maple are sliced into four rings, rearranged, and fitted over the inner cylinder. The materials used, from top to bottom, are cherry, plain cherry bark, maple, and walnut, with the cherry used for the top outer lid serving as the product name. *Since natural materials are used, the grain patterns and colors vary from piece to piece. While every effort has been made to present the product as closely as possible to the actual item, the color and texture may appear different depending on photography conditions or the computer or smartphone you use.
