Created by traditional craftsman Keitaro Arakawa, this exquisite piece uses rare "second bark" from wild cherry trees, which regenerates in about 6-7 years after being peeled. The outer surface and the inner lid are entirely made from this material, and the outer lid has been finely adjusted to close smoothly. *Please note that we cannot accommodate specific color requests. *As natural materials are used, the pattern of knots and coloration may vary for each item.
